The Philippine Society of Ventilating, Air-conditioning, and Refrigerating Engineers, Inc. (PSVARE) is once again hosting an event dedicated solely to the air-cooling, ventilating, and refrigeration industry called “HVAC/R Philippines.”
The 19th year of this industry event will be held on Nov. 10–13 at SMX Convention Center Manila, SM Mall of Asia Complex and World Trade Center Metro Manila alongside Philconstruct 2016.
“We are excited to open this year’s show as we welcome more exhibitors, both foreign and local,” said Leandro Conti, president of PSVARE.
“HVAC/R Philippines will be a comprehensive showcase not only of the latest technologies but also solutions that help make buildings more cost-effective, eco-friendly, and sustainable in order to lessen carbon emissions. This is of course in line with our longstanding advocacy for green and sustainable practices in the building industry.”
Since the show was launched, more companies have shown support for this advocacy by continuously developing technologies that are cost efficient and sustainable.
Last year, the show attracted 71,378 trade visitors and trade buyers in just four days proving that HVAC/R Philippines is the leading expo in showcasing world-class technologies targeted to both local and foreign buyers.
“We are expecting a bigger turnout this year because the construction industry is really growing and the increase in the number of projects we’re doing is very evident. Just take a drive around the metro and you’ll see it for yourself,” added Cezar Punsalan, convention chairman.
“This is why PSVARE worked doubly hard to bring in more brands to the show so our visitors can get a good lineup of products and technologies to see. HVAC/R Philippines is not simply an exhibition. It’s really a sourcing show for construction companies and HVAC & R engineers.”
One of the highlights of the show is the HVAC/R Technoforum, where resource speakers will be sharing their knowledge and insights regarding the latest issues and trends in the HVAC & R industry through a series of seminars and workshops.
This year’s Technoforum will focus on “Cooling Psychrometric: Different kinds of Air Conditioning System” and will be held on Nov. 11-12.
