In time for its 50th Anniversary, Toyota Motor Philippines recently revealed the New Corolla Altis. For the 2017 model year, the Corolla Altis has a bolder, more prestigious look.  Known for its reliability and durability, this new model adds style and sporty to its qualities.

The new front fascia has a wider look about it, due mostly to the lines of the grille that radiate out to the new headlights with integrated daytime running lights. New wheels and flaxen — as the new interior color — complete the look and feel inside and out.

Under the hood is the same EURO4-compliant four-cylinder Dual VVT-I, 16-valve DOHC engine as the last model.  The 1.6L puts out 122-Hp at 6000 rpm with 154-Nm of torque at 5200 rpm. The 2.0L produces 145-Hp at 6200 rpm with 187-Nm of torque at 3600 rpm. Both engine options are mated to a either a seven-speed CVT or six-speed manual.

Among the safety features are seven airbags (in the front, sides, curtain shield, and driver’s knee), Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) and Vehicle Stability Control (VSC).

The New Corolla Altis comes in seven colors: Super White, Silver Metallic, Gray Metallic, Attitude Black, Red Mica Metallic, the new Phantom Brown Metallic and White Pearl for an additional P15,000.00

    Prices begin at P894,000 for the 1.6E M/T; P934,000 for the 1.6G M/T; P990,000 for the 1.6G A/T; P1,074,000 for the 1.6V A/T; and P1,318,000 for the 2.0V A/T.
