Hyundai’s Grand Starex van, which is one of the most preferred vans by Filipino families, now has a version suited for public transport or cargo.
The South Korean brand has introduced the Grand Starex Super Express, the commercial version of the family-friendly Grand Starex.
The van can seat a total of 15 passengers, ideal for public utility vehicle (PUV) use. The bench-type rear seats can be folded to give space for long, tall and wide cargoes.
It also has double sliding doors for easier loading and unloading of passengers, while its 2.5-liter TCI diesel front-engine rear-wheel-drive promises to isolate engine noise and prevent the seats’ undersides from heating up.
The van’s air-conditioning vents are also said to be equally distributed from the front seats to the last row.
Priced at P1.398 million, the Grand Starex Super Express comes with a three-year or 100,000-km warranty.
