Chevrolet Philippines introduces Trailblazer LTX

Chevrolet gives its midsize SUV an upgrade as The Covenant Car Company, Inc. (TCCCI), importer and distributor of Chevrolet vehicles, launches the new Chevrolet Trailblazer 4×2 LTX.

The new Trailblazer 4×2 LTX AT boasts of exterior and interior refinements and added safety features to provide Filipinos a premium and excellent driving experience.

The Trailblazer LTX features a front two-tone bumper overrider and rear liftgate spoiler. There’s also a rear bumper scuff plate to protect the bumper sil from scratches.

Roofrails have been added to the Chevrolet Trailblazer LTX to provide additional cargo capability for equipment like roof racks and storage boxes.

The black “B” pillars complete the overall sporty sophisticated look of the new LTX variant.

The new Trailblazer LTX variant comes with additional technological and safety features like a rear view mirror that incorporates an HD in-dash camera for recording looping video in a 32 GB memory card. The LTX is also fitted with a reversing camera and rear park assist top view that provide visual and audible warnings when reversing in tight spaces.

The in-dash camera, reversing camera and rear park assist top view are displayed on a 4.3-inch LCD monitor placed in the rear view mirror for convenient viewing when driving and parking.

The new Chevrolet Trailblazer LTX is now available for P1,618,888.00.

Ford brings ‘Island Conquest’ to North Luzon, Marikina

Ford Philippines is expanding presence of its experiential test drive activity Ford Island Conquest this month, reaching out to more Filipinos in East of Metro Manila and in North Luzon.

Ford Island Conquest will be in SM Marikina on May 19-21 and Laus Event Center in Pampanga on May 26-28.

The Ford Island Conquest is the ultimate test drive arena for car enthusiasts and interested buyers to experience the Everest, Ranger, and EcoSport. An outdoor course, featuring a water-wading drive-thru, is designed to highlight key features and capabilities of the Everest and Ranger.

The Ford Island Conquest will also include a Ford showroom, providing a good opportunity for both owners and interested buyers to learn more about aftersales services and cost of ownership packages.

Toyota awards Shop of the Year

Toyota Motor Philippines Corporation (TMP) recently honored the winners of its search — through the Shop of the Year (SOTY) and Most Outstanding Leaders and Team Members (MOLT) recognition programs — for Team Members whose relentless efforts contribute to the success of the company.

Kia takes special kids to Kamp

This summer, Columbian Autocar Corporation (CAC), distributor of Kia vehicles, banded together with Kia Owners United Philippines (KOUPh), through club President, Chito San Agustin, to support a special Summer Kamp for Orphaned Special Children. These include those that are diagnosed with; Autism, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy and ADHD.

San Agustin, a 2016 Kia Advocate, is the President of Kamp Pagkakaisa Volunteers, Inc. (KPVI),a non-profit, non-stock organization that is committed to the welfare and development of these special young people. For the past 38 years, KPVI has held this summer program where children engage in classes and activities that teach them to be self-reliant and also to showcase their innate talents and skills through therapeutic activities.

At this year’s Kamp, the members of KOUPh were joined by representatives of Club Rio Philippines to serve as volunteers for a day at the latter part of the 10-day event and facilitate extra games and activities for the kids.

Earlier this year, CAC was approached by San Agustin with a proposal to help send more than 400 participants to the special Summer Kamp for Orphaned Special Children.

CAC president Ginia R. Domingo expressed how proud and excited the company is to contribute to the Kamp.
